For 2024 – 2025, the donations once again reached thousands of children in Bulgaria, filling their hearts with happiness and smiles.

The “CHILDREN HELP CHILDREN” project is an initiative of ADRA Germany, involving approximately 40,000 German children. The campaign begins in early November and takes place in many schools across Germany, Austria, Luxembourg, and France.

As part of the initiative, each child prepares a Christmas gift in a small box, intended for another child somewhere in Europe. Each box contains gloves, a hat, books, school supplies, sweets, and toys.

The project reaches poorer countries in Europe, including Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Serbia, and Croatia.

ADRA Bulgaria – Part of the Cause

Each year, ADRA Bulgaria receives approximately 6,000 gift boxes, along with new clothes for children and adults. The organization distributes these donations to around 120 settlements across the country.

In many of these locations, volunteers enthusiastically and lovingly participate in the initiative, ensuring that the gifts reach those in greatest need. Thanks to them and the efforts of ADRA Bulgaria, every year around 6,000 Bulgarian children receive their Christmas gift. For many of them, this is the only gift they receive for Christmas, bringing them joy, warmth, and hope.
